Horses for Sale
RoanOake Farm is dedicated to breeding, training and enjoying quality warmbloods and
sporthorses, some with that special golden color, some with pinto splashes, or both.  All of our
horses are handled fairly and treated with the respect and dignity they deserve.  We breed and
train for temperament and quality, and sell our horses to approved homes only.  We offer a
variety of warmblood breeds as well as several non-warmbloods.  Vet checks are always
welcome.  Limited videos and additional pictures are available on most of our horses.

colored warmblood or sporthorse requirements.  We have fantastic contacts throughout
Europe to help fullfill your needs.
 
In addition, with every RoanOake Farm horse sold, a donation will be made to Knick Of Time
Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation to support their ongoing horse rescue efforts.

Palomino Warmblood Colt, born 7/9/10, by our imported perlino,
Czech Warmblood stallion, Sagar, out of our Le Santo Holsteiner
mare, Nakomis. This colt is a fancy, fancy boy and will make a
fabulous dressage partner (of course, if you prefer fences, with his
breeding (Landgraf I both sides of pedigree) and athleticism, he
would excel in the jumper ring as well!)  His rare palomino color with
all that chrome will really set him apart in the show ring!  He should
mature 16.2+.  We will present him to RPSI in the fall.  He is offered
to a wonderful home only.

Smokey Black Warmblood Filly, born 6/20/10.  Soleil is a very elegant
filly with legs that go all the way up!! She is by Sagar, our imported
Czech Warmblood stallion, out of one of our Jockey Club TB mares.
Soleil should mature at least 16-16.1h, and is eligible for registration
and branding with RPSI.  $5,500
Sovereign GES
 
 
Buckskin Warmblood Filly, born 6/7/10.  "Sovereign" is a lovely,
refined buckskin filly by our imported German/Czech warmblood
stallion, Sagar, out of our 16h Jockey Club registered TB mare. She
is sweet, social and very, very elegant!  Half sister through dam to
Holsteiner mare Elektra (Kiel), who routinly scores in 70s in Prix St
Georges.  Sovereign is an outstanding performance and breeding
prospect, and her rare color will set her apart from the rest of the
crowd!  Sovereign should mature approximately 16+h and is eligible
for registration and branding with RPSI.  $5,500

Palomino Warmblood Filly, born 5/27/10.  "Satin Finish" is a fancy, 
friendly filly by our imported stallion, Sagar (Hurikan x Landgraf
lines) out of our MMB Hanoverian mare, Glossmoon. Satin will likely
be on the darker gold side of the palomino spectrum, and is sure to
stand out in the dressage or jumping ring!  Satin should mature
16.1h and is eligible for registration and branding with RPSI.  $5,500

Smokey Black Warmblood Colt, born 5/20/10.  "Stiletto" is an
elegant, long legged and gorgeous colt!!  He is out of our 16.3
Jockey club TB mare by our imported German /Czech warmblood
stallion, "Sagar."  This colt is going to be a winner with his correct
conformation, movement and unique, rare color!!!  He is expected to
mature 16.2+h and is eligible for registration and branding with
RPSI.  Pictured at only 3 days old.  The more he 'unfolds', the nicer
he is!!!  $5,500

Palomino German Warmblood X Holsteiner Filly, Born 5/1/10.  
"Benni" is a fancy, correct and very well put together filly.  She is by
Blue Eyed Dream (imported cremello German WB stallion) out of our
Holsteiner X mare, Venice (Cor De La Bryer x Ladykiller).  Benni is a
lovely mover, has a ton of presence and is eligible for registration
and branding w/RPSI. Pictured at just 4 days of age, and already she
shows a huge, uphill canter!!!

Smoke Screen GES
 
 
Buckskin Sporthorse Colt, born 4/20/10.  "Smoke Screen" is a fancy,
LEGGY and tall bucksking colt, by the imported Perlino
German/Czech stallion, Sagar, out of one of our all time favorite
mares, Lady Diplomat.  Lady is an appendix AQHA (mostly TB) and
always produces fabulous foals!  This colt is by far one of her
fanciest, and he will make an exceptional show horse with his
correct conformation, lovely movement and eye catching golden
buckskin coat!  "Smokey" is sure to be a success in whichever
direction he's taken, but he gives us the impression he would be
great in the Hunter Ring!  Expected to mature at least 16h and is
eligible for registration and branding with RPSI.  He is very
reasonably priced with special consideration to a show home.  $4,500

Bay Pinto Warmblood Filly, born 4/3/10.  Here is a FANCY tobiano
pinto Oldenburg X Hanoverian filly, by Sempatico out of a MMB "G"
line Hanoverian mare. "Sweet Sixteen" is a gorgeous mover, has
excellent, correct conformation and is one of a kind with her loud
pinto pattern! She has a LOT of leg, and is expected to mature
16.1h. She is going to excel in the show ring, and would make a
fabulous future addition to any quality warmblood/sporthorse
breeding program as well!  She is eligible for registration and
branding with RPSI, OLD, etc., Priced very reasonably and offered
to an approved home only.

2007 Flashy palomino 15/16ths Arabian colt, w/sabino gene.  Ouro
stands a very leggy 14.1+ at 2 years old.  By Kouros, 15.1h Arabian,
out of HD Golden Glory, 15h half (7/8ths) Arabian, so he will make at
least 15h at maturity.  Substancial, Straight and Correct!  Dishy head
and scopey neck.  A sock and a stocking behind with a big white
patch on the inside of his right knee.  Russian and Egyptian
bloodlines for refinement and size.  Parentage has Pyramid Society.  
Perfect for your breeding program.  UTD on all vaccs, worming and
trims.  Excellent stallion & show prospect, but will arrange for
gelding if buyer does not want a stallion prospect.  Has been backed
and is currently in training.  He is Sweepstakes Nominated.   $5,500
DSR Infinite Psylence
 
2005 Sabino Palomino 7/8ths Arabian Stallion.  Here is a
GORGEOUS palomino sabino stallion!!!  Plenty of flash with his 4
high stockings, huge blaze and belly splashes.  He is by Psyches
Apache x In Autumn Colors (x Infenitee+++//).  While "Psy" has not
been shown himself yet, he comes from a long lines of winners and
is a carbon copy of his full brother, KF Psychedelic who is cleaning
up in halter, western and sporthorse in hand classes!  "Psy" has
excellent conformation, movement and, of course, stunning color! 
"Psy"is available for sale to a serious home.  He has been green
broke but he is scheduled to go to the trainer mid May to get going
under saddle again, at which time his sale price will go up.

High Marks
 
1994 Polish Arabian Stallion.  High Marks has great temperament,
respects his mares and is easy to handle. High Marks is by
*Gondolier out of Mark IV Evergreen. *Gondolier, perhaps the most
successful son of Palas, was the Polish National Champion Stallion
in 1980 and the World National Champion Stallion at Salon du
Cheval, Paris in 1982. He is well known for producing Racing,
Dressage, Western Pleasure, Reining and working western horses.
*Gondolier, together with Mark IV Evergreen, produced FOUR
US and Canadian National winning get in reining, trail, and
western pleasure (Mark V, Mark VI, Mags Mystery and Marliera).
Mark IV Evergreen is a daughter of the renowned *BASK ++,
who is the only stallion to be a U.S. National Champion Stallion
and Park Horse and is the breed's all time leading sire of
champions and National winners, as well as National winner

NOTE TO OUR POTENTIAL BUYERS
 
One of the most difficult sides of this business is selling our horses.  Many of our sale horses
have been born and raised here on our farm.  Many others, we have either trained, retrained,
interacted with, cared for and bonded with on both professional and personal levels.  We have
grown to know them, care for them, and have invested hundreds and sometimes thousands of
hours into each and every one of them.  By committing our horses to the sales page, we also
commit ourselves to finding the right homes for our horses.  We would rather not sell a horse,
than sell the right horse to the wrong home or "job."  We honestly represent what and who our
horses are, as well as in some cases, what they are not!  If you have questions, are curious or
just plain wondering, please feel free to ask us about any details, behaviors, quirks, personality
traits, aptitudes, health and soundness, etc.
