Horses for Sale
RoanOake Farm is dedicated to breeding, training and enjoying quality warmbloods and
sporthorses, some with that special golden color, some with pinto splashes, or both.  All of our
horses are handled fairly and treated with the respect and dignity they deserve.  We breed and
train for temperament and quality, and sell our horses to approved homes only.  We offer a
variety of warmblood breeds as well as several non-warmbloods.  Vet checks are always
welcome.  Limited videos and additional pictures are available on most of our horses.
 
In addition, with every RoanOake Farm horse sold, a donation will be made to Knick Of Time
Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation to support their ongoing horse rescue efforts.

Artful Move "Taz"
 
"Taz" is a STUNNING buckskin sabino pinto Sporthorse filly,
born 5/16/07.  She is everything we could possibly hope for in
our breeding program!  She is elegant, athletic, correct and is
ONE OF A KIND with her phenomenal color!  Her sire is Willie,
and her dam, Zoe, was a gorgeous minimal white pinto Dutch X
mare, who was sired by Hall Of Fame (son of Art Deco).  Taz is
offered for sale to an approved home.  $6,500.
Glossmoon
 
Glossmoon is a 1990 bay 15.3h Imported Hanoverian MSB mare
by Gaudemus, out of Winterglass.  Gangster Legs Diamond
(her half brother, same sire) was Creeky Routson's (S-level
Judge) grand prix dressage horse.  Gwynnaglass, her full
sister, was a successful upper level dressage horse with many
wins.  Winterglass, her dam, was Site Champion at her
Hanoverian inspection.  Glossy had a beautiful Palomino filly in
2007, made tons of milk, and fully accepted and nursed an
orphaned foal with no problems.   Confirmed in foal to our
Arabian Stallion, High Marks, for a May 2009 sporthorse foal.

Gaelic Vixion
 
Gaelic Vixion is a dark brown 1998 16.3 1/2h JC Thoroughbred
mare, by Foxhound out of Caro Lure by Mountain Lure.  This
mare has 3 very nice gaits that includes a powerful, extended
trot!  Vixion has a calm nature and takes everything in stride. 
Gaelic presented us with a huge, bouncy black colt this year by
Femtio, a Friesian Sport Horse.  $2,500
Des
 
2004 black registered Friesian sporthorse gelding, 16.3+ and
growing!  This stunning young man has unlimited potential and
all the looks in the world!  He has excellent manners, and is
very easy to load, clip, shoe, etc.  He has been very lightly
started under saddle and put back out to continue growing.  He
is a lovely mover, powerful and elegant.  I am not entirely
committed to selling him, however between our recent move,
running 2 farms, our upcoming foal crop, getting ready for
breeding season, I simply lack the time to give him what he
deserves...  So, I am tentatively offering him for sale to an
approved home.  Please note that if I can figure out a way to
juggle everything, and find the time to work with this amazing
guy, I will take him off the market!  Des is an impressive,
gorgeous, gentle young man who has the talent, looks and
charm to impress even the most prickly judge and win the
hearts of all who meet him!  $15,000.

Palomino AQHA Filly, born 5/28/08.  She is out of Lady Diplomat
by our Mister Willie Deluxe.  They just keep getting better and
better from this mating.  Please look at the foal page to see the
previous two foals from this mating.  They both sold before
they were weaned!  $2,500
Red Hot Liberty
 
Palomino Sabino PHBA Filly, born 3/14/08, by Mister Willie
Deluxe out of Red Hot Prospect.  $2,500.
High Marks
 
High Marks has great temperament, respects his mares and is
easy to handle. High Marks is by *Gondolier out of Mark IV
Evergreen. *Gondolier, perhaps the most successful son of
Palas, was the Polish National Champion Stallion in 1980 and
the World National Champion Stallion at Salon du Cheval, Paris
in 1982. He is well known for producing Racing, Dressage,
Western Pleasure, Reining and working western horses.
*Gondolier, together with Mark IV Evergreen, produced FOUR
US and Canadian National winning get in reining, trail, and
western pleasure (Mark V, Mark VI, Mags Mystery and Marliera).
Mark IV Evergreen is a daughter of the renowned *BASK ++,
who is the only stallion to be a U.S. National Champion Stallion
and Park Horse and is the breed's all time leading sire of
champions and National winners, as well as National winner
producers.  For sale by private treaty.
Mister Willie Deluxe
 
Our breeding focus has changed over the years, and we are
now offering our cremello stallion, Mister Willie Deluxe, for sale
to an approved home.  More information about Willie can be
seen on his stallion page.  $5,500 and he will stand at stud until
sold.
Red Hot Opie
 
2002 PtHA gelding.  "Opie" is a WONDERFUL kids horse, kind,
sweet and honest in every way.  He is sound, sane and fun to have
around the farm!  He is UTD on vaccs, worming, trims and teeth
floating.  He has a snaffle mouth, rides under english and western
tack, and is a fantastic bareback horse!  He is safe for anyone to
work with and ride, and is super easy to load, clip, bath, etc.  He has
been shown once (in a halter class) and was very level headed with
the loudspeakers, commotion, etc.  He will walk over bridges, tarps,
ditches, etc., and has been free jumped a couple of times.  We have
raised him from birth and will only consider selling him to an
approved home.  Off the market for now.

NOTE TO OUR POTENTIAL BUYERS
 
One of the most difficult sides of this business is selling our horses.  Many of our sale horses
have been born and raised here on our farm.  Many others, we have either trained, retrained,
interacted with, cared for and bonded with on both professional and personal levels.  We have
grown to know them, care for them, and have invested hundreds and sometimes thousands of
hours into each and every one of them.  By committing our horses to the sales page, we also
commit ourselves to finding the right homes for our horses.  We would rather not sell a horse,
than sell the right horse to the wrong home or "job."  We honestly represent what and who our
horses are, as well as in some cases, what they are not!  If you have questions, are curious or
just plain wondering, please feel free to ask us about any details, behaviors, quirks, personality
traits, aptitudes, health and soundness, etc.
