Welcome to RoanOake Farm! 


We are a small, private facility that specializes in offering excellent quality care, instruction and training.  In addition, we have a wonderfully innovative warmblood breeding program, Golden Edge Sporthorses.  

  • We offer stallion services to the public featuring our two imported perlino Czech Warmblood stallions, Sagar and Mitril, and our homozygous Tobiano stallion Pallido Blu CF.  You'll be able to see all of our golden and pinto warmbloods and sporthorses on this new website by clicking here.

  • We have a fabulous mare base that includes cremello and perlino imported Czech Warmblood and Thoroughbred mares.  Our mare base also includes the bloodlines of Le Santo, Cor de la Breyer, Ladykiller, Diamont, Landgraf, South Pacific, Grundstein, Wendekreis, Blue Eyed Dream GF, Art Deco and Rainbow.

  • We breed our mares to top warmblood stallions in the industry to produce outstanding athletic foals that are fantastic show prospects for both professionals and amateurs alike for dressage, jumping and eventing.  Their great movement, wonderful minds, and GOLDEN color sets them apart from the rest!

  • ​Past sires of our golden and pinto foals include:  Londonderry, Bliss MF, Brentano II, Colorado Skrødstrup, Stedinger, Rubignon, Wild Dance, Parcival, Weltmeyer, Sempatico M, Blue Eyed Dream GF, Don De Marco, Treliver Decanter, Acord III, Don Frederico, Toronto, Werbellin, Belafonte d'Avalon, Goldmaker, Cleverly Concealed, White Magic, and our own fabulous Sagar, Mitril, and Pallido Blu CF.

  • We also have a sport pony breeding program featuring out Welsh stallion Clanfair Myrlin.

Stephanie Wendorf, instructor and trainer, offers year-round Riding Lessons and Training in Dressage, Gymnastic Jumping, and Show or Pleasure Riding in English or Western disciplines.  And you don't even need to own a horse.  Ride one of our well trained, kind and mannerly school horses.

  • We welcome all ages and riding abilities.​

  • Horse training available for your untrained youngster, as well as putting the finishing touches on your older horse.

  • Summer Camp, Clinics, and special events and 4H programs offered throughout the year.

  • Horses occasionally for sale.

  • RoanOake Farm is located just north-west of Longmont, Colorado in the beautiful Boulder Valley on the Front Range of the Colorado Rockies.
